Luxury Kitchen Remodel · Castle Rock
Luxury kitchens, architecturally remodeled.
At Limestone Custom Homes we designs and builds architectural kitchen renovations in Castle Rock and across Douglas County. Structural changes, custom cabinetry, natural stone, and integrated appliances are drawn, ordered, and installed by one studio under one schedule.
SCROLL
i. Practice
Real improvement. Not a refresh.
A Limestone kitchen remodel is an architectural project. We do not do facelifts, paint refreshes, or cabinet wraps. The work begins with how the room is used, the layout, and the structure needed to hold the new room together. Cabinetry, stone, and finishes follow the architecture rather than drive it.
Castle Rock and Colorado overall kitchens fall into a few categories. Older homes where the cook is isolated from the family room. Production homes from the early 2000s where the appliances are undersized, and the cabinetry no longer holds up. Newer luxury homes where the original kitchen was specified down rather than up. We treat each of these as a chance to reorganize the floor plan around how the family actually lives.
One studio. One schedule.
Architecture, structural engineering, interior design, cabinetry, and construction all run through the same team. There is no broken telephone between an architect, a kitchen designer, and a contractor, the people who draw the room are the people who build it. For you, that means a shorter timeline, and the room you approved is the room you get.
ii. Scope
What a Limestone kitchen remodel includes.
01 —
Architectural design and space planning
Professional design through full construction documents. Floor plans, elevations, sections, and any structural drawings required for permits. Drawn by the studio, not outsourced.
02 —
Structural engineering
Stamped engineering for wall removals, beam sizing, header relocations, and any floor or ceiling changes. Reviewed against the existing building before the design is finalized.
03 —
Cabinetry
Built to the architecture or selected from our catalog. White oak, walnut, painted, or veneered. Drawer banks, integrated panels, hidden appliance fronts when the design asks for them.
04 —
Stone and surface selection
Counters, slabs, splashes, and any feature stone. You approve the actual slab at the supplier, not a sample chip. Veining, edge profiles, and seams reviewed with you in advance.
05 —
Lighting, plumbing, ventilation
Layered lighting, ambient, accent, and dimmable circuits. Faucets, pot fillers, and water filtration. Range hoods sized to the cooking surface, with makeup air where code requires.
06 —
Permitting and inspections
All permits pulled through the relevant municipality, managed by the studio. Inspections coordinated with the project manager.
07 —
Project management and trades
One project manager from demolition to final walkthrough. Framing, mechanicals, and finishing trades coordinated in house. Client walkthroughs and decision documentation.
iii. Process
Four phases. One continuous build.
01 —
Discovery
An initial conversation about how the kitchen is used, what is and isn’t working, and a site visit to walk the existing space. We confirm fit and rough scope before either party invests further.
02 —
Design
Architectural sketch through full construction documents. Cabinetry drawings, stone selections, and appliance package finalized. You approve the budget and the design together, at every milestone.
03 —
Build
Construction begins with permits in hand. Demolition, structural work, mechanicals, cabinetry, stone, finishes, and appliances installed under one schedule. You walk the site weekly — progress you see, not progress you’re told about.
04 —
Handover
Final walkthrough, documentation package, and warranty. Appliance manuals, finish schedule, and care notes delivered with the keys.
iv. Investment
Pricing, in plain language.
A Limestone luxury kitchen remodel in Castle Rock begins at $70,000. The figure varies meaningfully with the scope of structural work, the cabinetry program, the stone selected, and the appliance package. The biggest single driver is how much of the original room is being rearranged. A same footprint remodel sits at the low end, and a full reorganization with wall removals and new structural beams sits well above it.
A short conversation. Often the right place to begin.
If you are considering a kitchen remodel in Castle Rock or the surrounding Douglas County communities, the first step is a thirty minute conversation. No deck. No pitch.
